Mountain Course -
The Kona Mountain Course designed by William Bell, Nelson and Robin Wright offers breathtaking Kona coastline views, trails of ancient lava flows and is enriched with Hawaiian culture and wild life.
You'll see Hawaiian wild goats moving throughout the back nine. The Mountain Course was built on an inland hillside and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Kona coastline. It features a cool mountain setting, manicured Bermuda greens, elevated tees, numerous bunkers and three lakes. After reaching the crescendo, all you see is a clear blue ocean, swaying palm trees and a panoramic view from Keauhou to Kona. Hole 14 is the highest point of the course and is the most picturesque. There is a waterfall surrounded by red bougainvillea and black lava rock, scenic lake and miles of ocean as far as the eye can see. |
