		Classic Club Golf Course hole #18 was selected as one of the three Most Beautifully Brutal Par 5 Golf Holes in the Southwest United States. #18 is among 16 par 5 regional finalists in the John Deere Credit competition for the Most Beautifully Brutal Golf HolesT in North America.
		The Classic Club Golf Course hole #18 has served as the finishing hole for the Bob Hope Desert Classic. Its nine bunkers cover more than two-thirds of an acre. The hole also is guarded by a lake that runs along the entire right side to a fast green that slopes toward the water. This is definitely a beautifully brutal hole.
		GolfWeek recently awarded Classic Club Golf Resort with its annual "Best You Can Play" designation for 2008. Classic Club Golf Course was also on the "Best New Courses" in the 2007 standings. This is Classic Club's first time in the "state-by-state " list and jumped in at #7 out of 20 other California courses cited.
